Bikinis, babes & beer at Eden

Eden on the Bay

What a view!

The Eden on the Bay Christmas market is something new on the calendar, and although it has finished for the year, it is certainly one that will grow. The venue has some of the most breath-taking views, and apart from the wide variety of restaurants, shops and cafe’s, they have also created some great events that will set the venue above others.

Where else will you find some 450 bikini clad ladies strutting their stuff in bikini’s?

Eden market

From local to international

We created an international beverage stand for the masses of shoppers and met many a man who needed an ice-cold beer after the bikini event. The organisers were so excited to have us there that they created a special beer garden area for us with hay-bales, benches and some music to keep the festivities lively.

We were offering beers from Germany, Belgium, India, Singapore & Thailand and locally from Durban & Napier. Our Napier draught proved to be incredibly popular and loads of folk got to enjoy both the lager & ale.

Cold beer was needed to chill

We also had some great Christmas gifts such as a Maredsous pack of 3 Abbey beers (Blonde @ 6%, Brown @ 8% & Triple @ 10%) with a stunning glass; South Africa’s only handcrafted organic vodka from Wellington, Primitiv, as well as their packs of Minitivs (6 x 50ml bottles); Naked Lemon Limoncello from Jorgensen’s Distillery; and a beautiful selection of wines from Bloemendal Wine Estate – the second oldest wine estate in the country.

We’ll be offering our stand at more markets and festivals around the countryside during 2011 so keep an eye open here for dates, times & venues. It’s a great way to taste and learn more of what is on offer instead of just following the herd. See you there!
